Konaseema is the Delta region of Godavari river in East Godavari District of Costal Andhra Pradesh
Regarded as East Kerala due to its similarities to the Kerala back waters. It is often termed as “GOD’S OWN CREATION”. It is surrounded by tributaries of the Godavari River and the Bay of Bengal.
Konaseema is an Oasis of enchanting beauty peace and tranquility that is a dream tour destination for all. Its magnificent land scope artistic temples lavish greenery, lustrous coconut grooves and fields and its resilience takes your breath away. Whether you are travelling by train, boats are bus a glance at the surrounding country side is enough to capture the cultural wealth and geographical variety of this paradise on earth.
On 12 th 2005, St.John’s School began to function under the management of JMJ SISTERS. We are proud to say that its tiny beginning was with only 40 students but the continual hard work and sincere service in education have been acknowledged by the people of Palivela and so today it has an amusing growth at different levels, having 600 students imbibing values and knowledge for life. In the year 2009 & 10 it was accorded Govt. Recognition up to class 10 th by the Govt. of A.P. Enhancement of competence of staff and students: Developing communication skills through spoken English and grammar classes. Taking special interest in slow learners through remedial classes and supervised study. Ensuring regularity through checking of class work, home work books. Encouraging aestheticism through charts & models. Caring the health through first aid & periodical medical checkups. Inculcating scientific temper by organizing science fair. Inducing healthy competitive spirit through elocution, essay writing, reading, quiz etc. Imbibing culture and patriotism through National and Religious festive celebrations. In-service Training programme for the staff Imbibed by the present day need our school organizes seminars and fresh up programmes for teachers .Reorientation of methodologies and exposure to latest developments is the philosophy of education at Palivela.several staff were encouraged to participate in various workshops. Effective supervision & Assembly conduction: We conduct regular parents meet Orientation classes, seminars on various subjects Conferences and seminars for staff Spiritual formation, Exhibition and Explorations, Co- Curricular activities Literary and cultural activities, sports & games Counseling, Field trips and tours To inculcate an atmosphere of faith in God we begin the day with a prayer in the assembly. To develop concentration and mental ability students do Yoga and meditation. To imbibe the moral values and to overcome the stage fear, students enact the moral stories. To create general awareness, students give daily news, General knowledge and health tips.

OUR EARLY STEPS
In the year 2005 in response to the cordial welcome of Rev. Bishop John Mulagada, Bishop of ELURU.
